Rimarim

You don’t know where you are but you are running. You don’t know what is happening yet you are running. You don’t know what creatures or people or things are after you and still you are running. You hunt your tiny breaths. You save your feeble strengths. You are tired. You are freaked. You are all fucked up. You don’t know what’s going to happen to you. You just like to escape through this chaos and get a life. You want to cry but you realize your tears have nothing to do to save you—to run away.

You turn to know who those people run after you but you realize you still don’t know if those are actually people. You just run and run and run. The roads are like infinite. The skies are dark. And you are alone. You have become more frightened by the fact that no one is with you to experience a very perfect torture in your life because you think everybody dumped you because you are selfish and you did many bullshits in the past. You start to cry and run and run. You are not a weeping person and here you are, bursting in tears like a child who has been bullied in grade school.

You want to run quicker but your strength becomes weaker. Too bad your strength does not help you anymore. You feel you are going to die in seconds. You wish that if you ever live, the first thing you would want to do is to sit on your couch wearing your pajamas; drinking your hot chocolate while reading a book in a cold, rainy night. You don’t want a mansion, a fabulous car or billions of money. You just need a life. That’s all. And something’s favoring you.

A light? Yeah! A light! Holy goodness I’m gonna live! Thank you!

You run the fastest to reach the light. You are laughing like this is the happiest day of your entire life, you will be saved. The Heavens save you!

You answered me! Yes! I don’t need money, or a big and fancy house! All I want is to liveeeeeeeeee!

You have reached the end of the light. The last time you are crying is because you thought you are going to die. But then...

A cliff? I thought it was something…

You walk near the cliff. You look below and you see nothing but fog and a clear sign of death. You laugh. You think you will live?

There are always choices. It’s either I just let myself attacked by those creatures or jump under this cliff.

What will you do?

You turn around to see who are following you. Now is your chance to take a glimpse after all those running. You step back. Your eyes freeze. You body is stunned. You are in terror.

Zombies? So they exist?! They actually exist? So this is a Zombie Apocalypse? Amazing! I thought they were just in movies or something! Whoah! Is this the time to be amazed? I’m gonna die!

You exchange looks between the Zombies and the cliff. You are making a final decision how you will face your death.

I’m gonna let those Zombies tear my awesome flesh! Right! I want to experience that excruciating pain. What will be the taste of my flesh and brain? I think it’s incredible because I’m so hot! I am so deliciously hot.

You close your eyes. You feel the warmth of air. You raise your hands. Your hair touches the darkness. Here they come…

The Zombies are on uproar as if they have not tasted like you for a long time. You feel scared. You change your plans.

You jump the cliff.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

You open your eyes. The Zombies are gone. There are no Zombies at all. The darkness tricked you. You realize you have jumped off the cliff. The air rushes excitingly on your body. You feel nothing but breeze. Your heart pounds heavily. You can’t breathe properly.

What an amazing death.

***

The wind drifts coolly. The water flows steadily. The trees sway as if they are dancing. The birds chirp. The skies are at peace.

You open your eyes. You are safe. You are alive. You stand up and breathe heavily. You breathe just to know if you are really alive. And you are.

You look above. You saw the cliff that you have jumped off. It’s not that too high but the last time you saw it was like seeing the cliff of death. You have bruises and light scars but you just ignore them. You don’t feel any pain. You feel nothing.

The darkness tricked me. So, you wanna kill me? Huh? Kill me! Kill me if you can!

You start to walk. You don’t know the place yet and you don’t know where to go. You are hoping you might meet someone here and find a way back home. You don’t seem hungry or thirsty. You don’t want to eat or drink, you just want to go back home. The last time you wish is that you can live and your wish was granted. Now, you want to go home.

You realize it is very hard to be alone. You miss your family. You miss your friends. You miss your cats. You miss everything and everyone. You are aching to experience all the things you have done with them. Again. But now you’re stranded. You can’t bring the past back anymore. How you wish you could bring back and undo all the mistakes you have done and say sorry to your parents and friends. But how? You are stuck here. Alone. Miserable. Dejected. How pity you are.

You heard something. You turn around but there is no one. You hear heavy and approaching barge—like footsteps that belong not only from a few people but hundreds of them. You turn around but you saw nothing. The noise gives you creeps. You are stunned. You don’t know where to hide. They found you.

Zombies again? They are not real! They disappeared the last time I jumped the cliff!

You run away from them. There are hundreds of Zombies after you. You know they are not real. They do not exist. But you are still afraid if they catch you. You want to hide but the path is filled with flesh-longing Zombies. There are zombies all around. You look at them. They are full of blood. They have ripped clothes and ugly faces and gross smell.

You run and you reach another cliff. The skies turn dark. You see nothing but them. You realize the same thing happened again. The Zombies. The cliff. Dark skies. Everything.

What’s with this place? Why are you doing this to me?!

You decide to wait the Zombies to come near you. You know they aren’t real. They are supposed to be gone.

They stand up in front of you. They are looking directly at you—sharp, deadly, insanely. The looks you have never imagined before.

You can’t attack me! You’re not real, you can’t be real!

All of the Zombies want to taste every bit of you but only few of them are able to run to you and attack you. They bite you on your face and on your arms. You are filled with blood now. You look at your arms. You can see your bones and your blood. You feel pain. You scream. You fall under the cliff. Your vision becomes blurry.

***

The wind drifts coolly. The water flows steadily. The trees sway as if they are dancing. The birds chirp. The skies are at peace.

You open your eyes. You are safe. You are alive. You stand up and breathe heavily. You breathe just to know if you are really alive. And you are.

You realize you are in the same place the last time you fell from the cliff. You look above. There are  no Zombies. They are not real. You are supposed to act that they are not real. You remember you were attacked. You touch your face. You look at your arms. There were no scars or bruises or blood. You are in the same shape the first time you are here.

It’s very weird. Zombies again? And the cliff. Everything happened again! But why? If I walk, Zombies will attack me again and I’ll reach another cliff and I’ll fall. Why this is happening to me?

You can’t ask yourself. You can’t ask anyone because there’s no one. You can think of many questions but there will be no answers forever. You cry. You are crying really hard. You want to go home so bad.

After you have wasted your tears to nothing, you decide to go for a walk. Who knows what another trip can bring you. Beside, there is something that urges you to walk and find the answers why this is happening. The surroundings are at peace now and you are serene.

You have reached an end point. There is something covered up there. You are curious of what is hidden on the end of the trail. You walk to to take a look at it. There is something buried there. You are frightened. You don’t know if you’re going to dig this or not but you are way too curious to know what’s under.

You dig the thing up with your bare hands. You dig until you feel something. You dig as fast as you can and you finally see what it is.

A corpse.

You remove the soil that hides the figure of the corpse. You remove all the soil that covered the face of the human.

You are shocked. You know this person. You really do. Now you know why you are here. Now you know why you are experiencing all of this.

You heard heavy footsteps. You know those are Zombies—zombies created by your illusion. They hunt you. They will crush you. They come for you.

You look at the corpse and you remember what happened to you before you were here.

You were selfish.
You were greedy.
Egoistic.
Self-centered.
Heartless shitty head.

The Zombies. The Cliff. The corpse.

The Zombies. The Cliff. The corpse.

The Zombies. The Cliff. The corpse.

The Zombies. The Cliff. The corpse.

These things come playing to your mind.

The zombies. The people you loved.  Death.  The corpse. You. The people you loved.  Zombies. Death.  The cliff. You. The corpse. The people you loved.  Death.  You.

You can’t cheat DEATH!

Ang Konsepto ng Pagbabago ni Crisostomo Ibarra, Pilosopo Tasyo at Elias (Noli Me Tangere)

Ang Konsepto ng Pagbabago ni:

I.                    Crisostomo Ibarra

Top 12 Free iPhone and iPad Games

Hey iPhone gamers! I compiled a list of iPhone (and iPad) Games I really enjoyed playing. There are lots of games in Application Store, but you can't be sure enough if those are worth downloading and playing. I only install and download games which are FREE. My Apple Account is a free account. Some people said that you can't create an Apple ID if you don't have a credit card--well I proved that wrong. You can have an account for FREE! Just google on how to. So, here's the list of enjoyable iPhone games and trust me, this is all FREE!

1. 2Fuse

This logic and fast-fingered game boosts you to play this more than million times. Tapping the same color of the same number in pair is the objective of the game, creating stars that make out higher scores. Very simple, right? But the highlight of this game is to tap numbers with the same colors very, very quick. You have only a minute on your time. Creating stars and combos and buying boosters and leveling up make your score go higher.

2. Temple Run

This is quite an old running game but this one really "runs" on me. The objective of this game is to run on this so-called "temple" with an infinite, creepy-obstacled bridge without falling in the water (sea?), hitting on trunks, burning on fires, tricking on the roots of the trees or just getting caught by those black-squeaking creatures. Getting coins and power-ups on the way increase score. I should tell you to use lots of  Resurrection Wings, if your goal is to be a hundred-million runner.

3. Tilt to Live

This tempting action game gives me a hard time to sleep, just beating my own record. This game has five different game modes. My favorite one is the original game which you need yourself (your character) to prevent from dying (or touching the red dots, your enemies). You are the arrow and you must defeat the red dots, by using different powers (fire, ice, bomb, etc.) popping on the screen. You just tilt your phone to move the arrow (you) left, right, up and down and everywhere. The more you kill the red dots, the more combos, the more time you stay alive, the higher the score. The other game modes are also exciting to play. Why not download it and find out yourself?

4. Doors and Rooms

This is a great, logic game making your head wanting to shut down. There are series of levels and chapters on this game. The goal is to make a way of finding the key of the door and exit the room. But that's not just plain easy. Chapter 1 is easy, of course. But as you go farther, it's hard as hell. There are some clues inside the room. Find the patterns and clues and use this to find the answer, to find the key. I suggest you must tap every single corner of the room to get all the clues and things you want to unlock the door. Even it's hard, it's very relieving if you find the key and proceed to the next chapter. You'll probably feel you're all that genius!

5. Dumb Ways to Die

Prevent yourself from dying is what this game aims for. It has series of events making yourself suffocate from near death. All you have to do is to escape from it before the time runs out. It's easy if you're fast enough. And you might like to play it to unlock those cute characters and probably watch their very funny Music Video. The scenes of the game is repeating but the scenes get faster and faster than the previous ones. Wanna try?

6. Fruit Ninja Puss in Boots

Who might not actually love this game? Beside of it's pretty enjoying slashing of fruits, it helps you also kill the boredom in your soul, if all else get busy. It's the Fruit Ninja Mr. Cat who makes fascinating reactions as real as the real-world. Like, you just heard it for the first time. The amazing thing is, the other game mode gets more exciting than the arcade. Knifing more than fifty juicy fruits in less than 20 seconds is like achieving your greatest accomplishment in life! Which you can't do in Standard Fruit Ninja.

7. 94 Seconds

An educational game, huh? Oh, it's very smart-thingy and gives you butterflies in your stomach when the 94-second time is about to end. The rule of the game is to think of a word that starts with the letter given with the category given. Example, if the category is Animal, then the first letter given is letter A, you should think of an animal that starts with letter A, like Monkey, right? No. An answer like an Ant or Alligator or Armadillo will do. You only have 94 seconds to answer all the categories given. Points will increase if you have answered 5-in-a-row, 10-in-a-row and etc.

8. 4 Pics 1 Word

It's a powerful logic game, too. 4 pics 1 Word is about thinking of a word that has similar things describing the four pictures on the screen. Those four pictures are interconnected with each other, creating only one word. This ain't easy if you are guessing a word that is very unfamiliar to you. You might probably want the help of your friends. Earn coins by answering correctly.

9. Glass Tower

This game is a strategic game. It has a glass tower build in a black platform. Your objective is to smash all the blue glasses and leave the red ones. You have your options, or might say strategy. You can crash those red glasses if you don't have any option. If you all smashed the blue glasses, you will earn more points and proceed to the next level. Just remember that those red glasses have negative points. The bigger the red glasses, the bigger their values. So as much as possible, don't let the red glasses fall below the platform. You must maintain your points to proceed to the next level. And to assure going to the next, you must earn higher points. The game is over if your score gets back to zero.

10. Hardest Game Ever

I love this game. This game is not really hard. I promise you. It was named "hard" because if you play alone, it is impossible to succeed to this game. To unlock levels, you must do your best to achieve S (Super). There are six grades, namely F, E, D, C, B, A and S. I really, really, really suggest that you must ask your friends (two Superfriends will do) to play this game in extreme and insane levels.

11. Moron Test

This game is for stupid people only. Are you stupid? Then play it! This game believes in the saying that, "If all else fail, follow instructions." I might say this is an easy game if you follow instructions. There's no highscore here. The only basis if your smart enough is how fast can you answer all of the questions correctly.

12. Where's My Water?

I like this game because of Mr. Croccu. I just named him! I don't know if he has a name. The concept of the game is very interesting for me. Because Mr. Croccu just want to take his bath. He badly needs a tubful of water. But the thing is, it's very hard to get him water. This game and Mr. Croccu need a player with a big brain. He doesn't want a masculine or a Taekwondo player one. The player's willingness to make a way for water is what Mr. Croccu ever wanted. Download this and hear his complaints when you can't give what he wants: WATER!!!

Can you suggest other amazing games in iPhone and iPad? Comment below and let's play it together!

Happy Graduation Day!

Happy Graduation Day!
Happy Graduation Day sa lahat ng High School students!

Yes, graduation na. I just want to congratulate my friends, relatives and all the students in the universe na ga-graduate this coming year. I am very proud to all of you kasi dahil sa inyo, may maisusulat na naman ako. HAHA! (baka mata-type?)

WHATEVER!!!

Okay. Sige. Miss mo na. Sabi mo eh. Wag ka ng umiyak.

O baka masaya ka kasi finally, after all those hardships, those countless assignments and reports, and those sleepless nights when reviewing (Nagre-review ka?), super finally, ga-graduate ka na? Ikaw na, THE BEST KA DIBA!

Kahit nangako kayo na after 10 years or what, magkikita-kita kayo, at ipapakita ninyo kung ano yung mga narating ninyo.

You should say sorry. Not because it is a must, not because I instructed you, but because you really did something wrong in the past. Kahit na words cannot heal those wounded hearts, still, you should say sorry sa mga kasalanan na nagawa mo/ninyo. Make peace. We should not hold grudge to everybody.

And syempre, you should say thank you to your teachers, classmate-friends and to your parents. At before I forgot, mag-thank you ka pala sa Mayor natin na si Mr. Bobby C. Eusebio dahil binigyan ka niya ng libreng PE uniform with matching socks and funky rubber shoes, cool black shoes, notebooks and a whole lot more.

Giving sorry and thank you notes will do. :D

Sige. Buhay mo naman iyan eh. Goodluck sa college life!

This is dedicated to all Nagpayong High School graduating students of batch 2011-2012.

From the former NHS'ian, schoolpaper staff of The Quest, "Yehey! graduate na sya, pakain naman, dadaan ako sa bahay ninyo ah hehe."

Congratulations and may you do your best in your life. Trust God all the time. He will guide you in every path you will going to take.

May Common Sense ka ba?!

Palatanong ka ba? Kung oo, anong klaseng palatanong ka? Yung may sense ba o wala?

Take for example this situation one.

Teacher instructed her students.

Teacher: Okay class, get one whole sheet of paper.
Student: One whole Ma'am?
Teacher: Yes, one whole sheet of paper.

Simple. Isang sentence. Walang kahiya-hiyang pangyayaring naganap.

Dito naman sa situation two.

Teacher instructed her students.

Teacher: Okay class, get one whole sheet of paper.
Student: One whole Ma'am?
Teacher: Are you not listening? My goodness! I said earlier, get one whole sheet of paper! Did I say anything more or less than that? Did I say get one whole sheet of Manila paper or half sheet of that paper? I didn't say other things but one whole sheet of paper!

See the difference? Napahiya yung estudyante. Pero she had the point. Kakasabi niya lang, magtatanong pa ulit iyong estudyante. Iyan ang mahirap sa atin eh (not only Filipinos, but also other people used nakakabobong tanong), nagtatanong ng walang kwentang bagay.

Boy: Si Johnny?

For more emphasis? Para may two-way conversation? Question mark. Its either YES or NO lang ang sagot dyan.

In other way, kahit pangit pakinggan ang pambabara mula sa nakakabobong tanong, at least you try to enlighten their minds and say, "Oo nga ano, bakit ko batinanong iyon!".

Boy: Si Johnny?
Girl: Oo, si Johnny nga. Johnny Santos.

Sho-shonga-shonga.

Solution para sa Pangakong napapako (New Year's Resolution)

Okay class, please get one whole sheet of paper and write what is your New Year's Resolution.

Girl: New Year's Resolution.

Boy: Ano yung New Year's Resolution?

Boy: New Year's Resolution.
1. Hindi na po ako mangangako, PROMISE!

Girl: Bakit may promise? Diba hindi ka na nga mangangako? Nakakainis ka! Wala kang isang salita! Sabi ko na nga ba kahit ilang libong beses kang gumawa ng New Year's Resolution mo, walang magbabago sayo kundi iyang kapalpakan mo! Palpak ka, PALPAK!

Boy: Pwede mag-sorry?

Kaya letter D, it all depends kung ano ang pinagako niya.

Happy Halloween? What?!

Happy Halloween everyone!
But y'know, I am not happy because I really became busy this October month. Coz I didn't post any articles over the month. I have enough time, really (I access FB every time, of every day), but I can't really write something nicer. I visited my blog a day ago and I tried to write something on it. I just erased because I don't know what to say, much.

I just dropped by guys to say Happy Halloween! I don't know why the word "halloween" was affixed with the word "happy". This holiday was something very serious, somewhat dramatical and tear-shed. Maybe, others (or us, perhaps) were tricked by trick or treat, which sounds very well. But if we were amazingly tricked and called the halloween a happy day, why some (should I describe it least?) of Filipino people knocked on neighbor's door and say, "Trick or treat?" We never had a tradition like that. And I really knew it was from Westerner's traditions, right? I just seen it in movies (and magazines), not in real life.

But, hey! Don't bother this thing so much! I am just curious and no one else, HAHAHA. By the way, do you encountered any creepy things when you are going to somewhere? If you would ever ask me, I really say YES. I encountered this creepy thing when I was Second Year High School. Me and my friend went to comfort room (our class was shifted during night, the end of our class was 8pm) around 7pm. We were combing our hair in front of the mirror and suddenly, we heard a soft voice, somewhat crying. We stared at each other's eyes. Our mouth were shut and we really froze for a moment. Then, we screamed out of the comfort room. The guards were all looking at us. We didn't say any thing but ran towards our class room. We told that creepy happening to our classmates and they want to explore the comfort room. Since that night, my other classmate-friends were walking towards the CR, just to encounter that crying girl.

In connection with my story (circling to that goose-bumping CR of our school), my dear classmates also went to that particular CR (they were not my classmate-friends, but other person really wanted to pee) and they experienced hovering experience. My  classmate wanted to pee (as I have said) and really waiting for that girl peeing. She have waited, and, her companions said what she'd waiting over that cubicle. She said, there's a girl peeing and she also want to pee. But her friend said that there's no one over there. She looked again under the cubicle door and was surprised that there was no feet! She actually saw it before she'd been waiting. Then, she ran out of the comfort room.

We thought that the crying girl we heard and the peeing girl she saw (the feet under) was only one. Well, we were not surely sure, but, I don't know what to say.

While I am typing this stupid story of mine, I am really scared, giving me the creeps, because I am just alone here in my room. They were all downstairs, watching TV and lap-topping.

So, do you have your story? Post your comments down over there. HAHAHA.
Hit like if you goose-bumped (but I surely cannot see the LIKE button. HAHAHA !

Happy Halloween :)
